Turtles And Tortoises Inc
There are many differences between turtles and tortoises, but the main difference is that turtles live in water and tortoises live on land. Turtles are also generally smaller than tortoises. Another big difference is that turtles can swim, but tortoises cannot.
Tortoises have heavier shells than turtles, which helps them stay on land. Finally, the shape of a turtle’s shell is more round while a tortoise’s shell is more oval-shaped.
